Placement of Hemodynamic Electrodes

Skin Preparation: Clean the patient’s skin with alcohol pads or wipes to remove sweat, oils, and lotions, which can affect electrical conductivity and measurement accuracy. Allow the skin to dry completely.

Electrode Placement: Once the skin is dry, position the patient upright and place the electrode pads according to the eight core lead line schematic.

  • White Snap Electrodes: Place these at the intersection of the frontal plane and the line of the neck root.
  • Black Snap Electrodes: Position these 5 cm above the white snap electrodes.
  • Red Snap Electrodes: Place these at the intersection of the tip of the breastbone and the maxillary line.
  • Green Snap Electrodes: Position these 5 cm below the red snap electrodes.

Placement Order: First, place the four snap electrodes on the left side of the patient, then place the four snap electrodes on the right side. Ensure not to mix or confuse the electrodes between the right and left sides.
